Facilities at the Du Bois Centre |

1. Seminar Hall
 An audience in the Multi-purpose Room The Du Bois Centre for Pan-African Culture has a seminar hall which can comfortably seat up to twenty-five people. This is an air-conditioned room located in the Museum building, which can be rented out to the public for meetings, exhibitions, etc.
2. Exhibition Hall
The main exhibition hall of our Museum, the Pan-African Gallery, is often used for small receptions in an atmosphere of historic mementos.
3. Multi-purpose Room
This room, located in the new building of the Library and Museum for Pan-African Culture, can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people. A very adaptable space, this room can be used for lectures, large meetings, dinners, cultural performances, film showings, etc.
4. Media Centre
The Centre plans to use part of the Library and Museum for Pan-African Culture as a Media Centre, complete with computer installations and internet ports, and also audio and video equipment. Donors from the Diaspora have offered to provide computers and other equipment through the Du Bois Centre Resource Network in the U.S. to support the Media Centre.

The Open Air Theatre is used for the Centre’s programmes—lectures, discussions, symposia, theatre, music, and dances performances, etc. As a rented space the Open-Air Theatre is ideal for social functions as well as for concerts and other artistic performances.
6. Guest House
The Marcus Garvey Guest House offers economical accommodation for visitors and scholars who require a quiet serene atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city but conveniently accessible to most places. It is a five-room guest facility which can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time (double occupancy). There are two types of rooms: (a) fully air conditioned rooms, equipped with a fridge and a television set; private bathroom; no cooking facilities; (b) fully air-conditioned rooms equipped with a writing desk; shared bathroom and kitchen facilities (ideal for families or small groups traveling together.) All guests have access to a large lounge and veranda.- Rate $50.00/night, with package rates for longer stays
- Check-out is at 2 pm. Check-out times for guests whose flights leave late at night will be discussed on an individual basis.
7. The Pan-African Reading Room
Currently the Pan-African Reading Room, a small facility with a collection of about 2000 volumes, serves students and scholars with Africa/Diaspora materials on a non-circulating basis. The catalog will become a link from this website early in 2008.
8. Restaurant
A privately managed restaurant on the Du Bois Centre compound, “Roots Afrik,” serves meals of basic Ghanaian cuisine throughout the day. It caters to the needs of the general public, including guests at the Marcus Garvey Guest House who choose to take their meals on the premises.
