Financial support for the Du Bois Centre |

Rev. Jesse Jackson viewing some exhibits at the centre As a national monument the Du Bois Centre has been supported, modestly, by the Ghana Government. However, its recent decision to put some cultural institutions, including our Centre, on self-support, necessitates our raising funds to continue functioning and to enhance our facilities and programs as the mission demands. A minimum endowment of five million dollars would insure basic survival. Individual and group contributions from visitors and friends committed to the future of the Centre are our most gratifying form of support.
Tax-exempt monetary donations to the Du Bois Centre can be sent to: Phelps Stokes Fund (with “Du Bois Centre” noted) 1400 Eye Street, N.W., Suite 750, Washington, D. C. 20005. Donations of $500 or more will be permanently acknowledged with an inscribed paving stone in the forecourt of the Centre. For other forms of donations, contact us by e-mail, fax, or phone .
